How To Install Cryenb V3
Hello all,I spend many hours trying to run steam GTA 4 1.0.8.0 with many different ENBs (cryENB v3 for example). Result is always the same. With d3d9.dll file game not starting at all.
My friends list shows that I am playing GTA 4 for a moment but nothing happens, no errors, no RGSC, nothing at all. When i delete d3d9.dll game starting normally but all textures are black. Everything is black. I see radar, arrow to change clothes, I can use a mobile but the rest is completly black.I was trying to use ENB injector but this change nothing. I was trying to work with RGSC, changing, deleteing paul.dll but it change nothing except RGSC menu.
I was trying with and without sweetFX - unsuccessfully. In my opinion it's a problem with this fckn secuROM.I got GFWL (or marketplace, whatever this sh.t name is). Vanilla is working normally. I got Windows 10 up to date, Gforce 1050 TI (I was also trying on Intel integrated GPU - same effect) I have NOT EFLC - is it required for ENBs?Is any solution to make it run properly? If you delete paul.dll game will start at once, without RGSC menu.I'm not 100% sure but i think d3d9.dll doesn't exists in Vanilla files. ENB contains this library. I tried cryENB from 2 different sources, game is not starting, nothing happens. I did not yet run into any trouble with the ENB I mentioned.:/ Have the same problem, did you fix it yet? Been trying to get icenhancer 3 to work on both 1.0.8.0 and 1.0.4.0. Best results I've gotten after a couple of days is a broken version of the mod.
Lighting doesn't seem to function properly (really out of place light orbs and cones everywhere) and I get serious flickering and stuttering in cutscenes. With enb the game gets extreme lag at all times if you play it in fullscreen. I have to use the '-windowed' flag to get rid of it. I think the April Update for Win 10 might have something to do with it.Followed every instruction from start to finish both for downgrading to 1.0.4 and when it comes to installing icenhancer itself.

Also can't have the 'disable fullscreen optimizations' flag active in the app compatibility properties. If you downgrade you have to use '-norestrictions' in order to change video settings. As of now I'm sticking to vanilla 1.0.4 since it starts up much faster than 1.0.7 or 1.0.8 at least.
