Product Information. In Drakan: The Ancients' Gates, players are cast as a beautiful female warrior named Rynn, who, along with her dragon companion, Arokh must prevent the last remaining humans from being cast into slavery. To do so, they must seek out the power of the great dragons - the only beings capable of saving their world.
The sequel to Drakan: The Order of the Flame, this adventure takes place from the familiar third-person perspective as the duo fight their way through 15 levels of ground- and aerial-based combat. Armed with a multitude of ranged and melee weapons, as well as magical spells, Rynn must overcome the enemy hordes, should she wish to complete her noble quest.Though she possesses a wealth of offensive moves, Rynn will need to make use of the aforementioned magic to escape some tight spots. Magic can be used with a simple button press, or if the player so desires, can be invoked by performing the corresponding movement with the right analog trigger. Arokh, as you might have guessed, handles the aerial engagements. Aside from his two primary means of attack, of which one is the customary fireball, Rynn's large cohort can also make use of five 'dragon weapons,' such as sonic, ice, and darkness. While combat plays an integral role in the title, as our heroine journeys across the four environments she will also need to converse with numerous non-playing characters in order to acquire new spells and information, among other things.

At first glance the graphics weren't that great, but it didn't matter because it was so fun to control Lara Croft, explore her world, solve the puzzles, battle, and marvel at what was to come next? DRAKAN: THE ANCIENT'S GATE is one of those games. There are many similarities to the first Tomb Raider in this game.
You play as Rynn (a female warrior who bears a striking resemblance to Lara Croft), you explore vast lands, caverns, dungeons, and buildings completing quests and solving puzzles, and the graphics are pretty much the same as the early Tomb Raider titles also. That's where the similarities end, however. In Drakan: TAG, Rynn is accompanied by her fearless dragon, Arohk, in aerial battles and travel. Rynn battles Orcs, Gobl ins, Ogres, Giants, Yetis, Giant Spiders, Undead creatures, and a host of other formidable foes in this title which mixes action/adventure with rpg elements. Rynn isn't as agile or acrobatic as Lara, but then again she CAN use magic AND she can fly around on her dragon blasting enemies with various elements (fire, ice, poison, wind, lightning bolts, etc).
Any gamer can get lost in the vast environments of this awesome game. Hours of gameplay make this title worthy of becoming a staple in any rpg player's gaming library. I strongly recommend this title. This is a very cool game.I love this game!
How to move mods from nmm to mo2. It is so fun! I bought this game because I had played it a few times about 6 or 7 years ago, and I remembered how fun it was.
I couldn't remember the name of it though, so I searched 'girl riding around on dragon game' on the internet and finally found it. I haven't gotten very far in it yet though, so I can't tell you how great the ending may or may not be - just know that this game is very cool. One thing though - right after you first get some money and buy some weapons and armor from the blacksmith, SAVE YOUR GAME before you go into the swamp!! I didn't, and had to start everything all over again. Anyway, great game.

Memory bug that could result in visual glitches (such as strange diagonal lines). I just found this great mod in the web, hoping I could play Drakan again after a long time finally, but sadly it does not work. The installation of the mod was without any problems, but no matter what I try, I can not run this mod. The onkly result every time - the screen gets black, a yellow mouse cursor appears, and nothing else happens.
